I am looking to go "up" to a better tire in the more abundant 205-50 r15s - from the 195-55s.
My question... It seems this is fairly common in the Honda community, but seeing as how this is my daily driver I have to make sure my speed/mileage is accurate. How much will a 50series tire make a difference versus a 55series?
Thanks for the responses. And a pic of my car so people will actually look>>>

With a 205/50-15 in use instead of the stock 195/55-15, you will be going slightly faster than your speedo reads. However, the difference is probably less than the margin of error on the speedo itself.

Both those sizes are fine for your car. Generally I find the 195/55-15 more abundant and slightly cheaper but hey, whatever floats your boat.
205/50-15 is 1.6 percent smaller than your stock 195/55-15 size. Therefore, your speedometer and odometer will read higher than before by that percentage.
This doesn't change the relationship between the RPM and the speed indicated on the speedometer. However, it does change your actual speed at a given RPM setting.
