They are nice...lol what do u expect people to say. Try and get yourself one with an H22 motor in it. H23 = slower. That is all

Old, expensive to maintain, expensive to insure, forgotten by the aftermarket.......

But somehow all that seems to make it worth it every time that H22 hits vtec or you snag the perfect shift with perfect gear ratios. These cars have classic style and more personality than most other hondas. Just be sure you have money aside to fix it when it breaks, after all these cars are getting well past their expriation dates

Insurance really isn't that bad. It was cheaper to have me on my '92 SI than my mom's '99 Accord by half

i get comments very often from domestic guys "that is the nicest import i have ever seen, it actually looks like a sports car" and this is from people who hate imports.

It's a great car and really has no negatives except for the fact it's expensive to get it respectabely fast. Other than that the styling is timeless, gas mileage is is decent and should be reliable. Also get one with a H22, or VTEC. Don't make the mistake of buying something you'll want to swap or wish you bought originally a year from now.

eww... integras lol. Hatchness your not really going to get to many bad points in this forum section. I mean...everyone here loves their ludes and will tell you to get one. Maybe you should try more of a honda in general forum i guess? idk? to get a better wide spread of opinion of what car to get.

preludes are great... if you cant find a VTEC, just get the Si... its just as fast as strong as the H22, just no VTEC... The H22 still has 160 HP until VTEC engages, then its 190. I had the H23 Si motor for years until i swapped in the H22.. and its fast, but not too fast. If this is your first car, take care of it... oil changes every 3k! It will last forever, and you'll never want to give it up once you start driving it.

i rarely see H series engines last more than 200k without a rebuild or spun bearing...so i dont think they are as bulletproof as some other honda engines. my h23 made good power at 170k when i swapped...it just burned and leaked lots of oil etc and needed a lot of attention. BUT i dont think any other car would be any different with that many miles

like a few said- have money set aside- its not like a civic haha sorry. they are "forgotten" by the aftermarket- but if you want a nice daily driver and have some fun here and there, swap to an h22 with the basic boltons, nice suspension, good set of wheels and tires and you'll enjoy the hell out of it. It handles nicely, performs well too. Sure ive had to replace a lot of things from my lude' but i enjoy it a lot more than previous cars ive owned. They are old cars, i have a 92 so i couldn't complain when the oem parts started going out.

All I can say is you won't regret it. I have a h23 in mine and thats all the power I've needed till this day. Driven the f22 and h22 and well I'm ok with what I have. On the other hand you can always turbo the h23 like I'm gonna do.

How's it going bob?
