Default Intake Question for NA setup

cars 99 gsr... type r pistons, rods, cams, milled head etc... getting built now. My intake will be a 65mm professional product power TB, and a blox IM.... My question is should i use my current ARM CAI for gsr...
I know the tubing size is 2.75" but would it really make a difference to spend the money and upgrade to a 3" type r intake w/ v stack? I dont wanna spend the money if im gonna see like 1-2 whp gain

Just use the stock itr intake and save money.... It will perform just as good as any 3 inch intake (shortram)...
