Default B20/vtec oil leak???????

i installed a golden eagle vtec conversion kit and there is a leak between the block and the sandwich plate. i called golden eagle and they told me to send this one back to look at it and if there is a problem they would send a new one. i dont have time for this. has anyone heard of this problem, because the gasket and plate that i have are fine. PLEASE ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREAT!
