building a sohc zc...
hey guys, planning on buying a sohc zc for my hatch and boosting it. ive heard parts for zc's are hard to find? if i were to build the bottom end internals, would i just buy the rods and pistons that would fit an a6? if not, wut would i look for. thanks

no and yes - most internal parts, including all of the bottom end (except pistons) on the 88-91 DOHC ZC engine are the same as the 88-91 D16A6 Si engine - the only parts that are the same as the Integra D16A1 are the valvetrain, distributor and Cylinder Sensor - the 88-91 DOHC ZC block and head casting are not the same as the D16A1 - they are not like any other Honda engine - the D16A1 is like the 84-87 JDM "browntop" DOHC ZC - you would be better off building a DOHC ZC than a SOHC ZC since you are starting out with at least 10 more horsepower
