Default JDM Integra Rsi vs. 99/00 civic si i/h/e ? Is it just me or is it really odd?

How is it that a car that weighs from the factory 2610lbs. can go 14.8's all day long with i/h/e, but a car (integra rsi) that weighs 2350lbs. from the factory is OEM test rated at only being able to run 15.2 in the quarter-mile? Are the Honda road test drivers that crappy at driving? The Rsi has the same gear ratio's also.

Is this to say that if you put i/h/e on a stock JDM Rsi, that you could go 14.50's all day long? Probably not!

What's going on here? This doesn't really add up!

Both, the OBDO and the OBD1 Rsi.

Or whichever one that weighs 2350lbs. from the factory.

jdm model.... pretty much an ls with a b16. no sunroof or any of that good stuff. xsi is the fully loaded model... probably weighs a bit more. obd1 rs1 engines came with more power so maybe the times you found were for an obd0? also are si's really this quick?

Yeah the Rsi is basically what the 1968 Dodge Dart was back in the day. Power nothing, no a/c, no p/s, extremely light bumper supports, nearly no sound deadening capabilities, barely a heater, and other light weight sh#t. The damned thing is basically a large scale crx hf.

If I could ever just get my hands on one, life would be great, because after I finished installing nearly everything carbon fiber sold in the aftermarket for the 2nd gen integra, that already light a$$ car, should be nearly 2290 pounds.

Having an Integra that makes most civics bow down like a servant, Sexy, Sexy, Sexy!!!!!!!!!

P.S.- I'm a damned good driver!
