Default Apexi Power FC Tuning Experience

Gday all,

I'm Looking into tuning my apexi on my own. I can't find anyone locally or within a couple of states who can or will tune the car, since it's a honda. Most of the tuners around here are rednecks and only play with V8's. Would anyone here be able to help me out with ign/inj maps? I've pretty much got everything else sussed out. I'm running a B16a2 on the Modded CTR Basemaps with my adjustments to sudden accel and vtec engagement/dis-engagement. I appreciate any other info on tuning these things pre-dyno.

Cheers,

good luck. the only tuning you will be doing your self is with the commander.....that will take years! You have to be a lisenced power fc excel dealer to have the program to tune on your lap top which sucks however if you do find a tuner the program is awesome. my tuner is a power fc tuner up here in mass

Get a FC Datalogit for it if you dont already have one, that makes tuning it yourself a lot easier and quicker. I run Power FC, but my engine is not too similar to yours so I'm not sure that my maps will be too helpful.
