I have a 91 LX. I just recently got my A/C fixed in August. the air comes out very cold but the problem is that it doesn't even blow out air at all sometimes. Sometimes when I start the car it doesn't work and then all of a sudden, 5 min later it comes on. Can you explain what I need to fix it. Is the blower bad?

 

This means it's time for a Caveman test When the blower is not running, reach up under the glove box and give it a hard thump. If it takes off running it means the motor brushes are worn out and motor replacement is needed.

 

take "hondadude's" advice. i had a similar problem with my 1990 accord dx.... i reached up under the glove box and found out that mouse had made herself a home in my blower motor!lol i removed the dead mouse and her dead babies, the ac/heater is working just fine.......... in order to reach into the blower make sure the vent is open. turn car on and a/c fan,wait for vent to open then reach into it!!!!!
