Rough idle after Fujita SRI install
I was thinking it was only going to do it when i first installed it, but when driving to work this morning at just about every light it would do it too.....suggestions???
After you installed it
did you let the car idle for 10-15 minutes giving the ecu time to "adjust" for it?
or did you hop in and go speeding around?

Post pics make sure your vibration mount is def secure and your filter is not hitting anything just keep adjusting until it goes away.

i would disconnect the battery for a good 10-15 min.
Reconnect and let it run for another 10-15 minutes.
Than go for a drive without pushing it.

I guess someone didn't read the instructions.

I read them but in reality there is no need 2 there is nothing to give a shock off during installation i am a electrician i should know. I guess the main purpose for that is 2 reset the ecu or etc but it ran fine so i guess its not needed.

well the reason for the ecu resetting itself is to compensate for "more air" coming int the system.
It might run fine.... BUT .... it could run better.
CEL, rough idle , minimized performance upside....etc etc
Exhibit a =
are you driving to all these places in the same amount of time it takes to install an intake system? no. this cant even come close to comparison, installing a high flow intake adds more air flow that an ecu dosent know what todo IMMEDIATLY, causing a CEL. driving over thousands of miles to all your places, would allow the ecu to learn and therefore no conflicting readings for the ecu.
and remember your old gallant is not as **** as the is300.

best bet is to pull the backup fuse from where ever they keep it in the new Si's, leave it out for about 10-30 seconds. you might lose presets, but it will reset the ECU
