ok does anyone know/think that having a stock gsr intake manifold and throttle body bored out would be worth it. i got a buddy of mines stock gsr intake manifold and throttle body to try it. also i removed the secondary butter flies from my stock intake mani and i have noticed a bit of difference and vtec is louder . but my reasoning is so when if your where to take a look under the hood you would not notice nothing but normal intake and exhaust, but have internal work done. cams, piston etc. would this be worth a shot or should i just get a skunk 2 intake and throttle body

 

boring out the tb is an okay idea.. but i would buy an after market itm..

 

i bought an gsr throttle body and sent it out to maxbore.com. excellent quality 68mm. plus i heard bad things about skunk2. too much hype. plus some people had problems with it sticking too.

 

my friends skunk2 tb sticks so i aint tryin to spend the money on something that sticks. what kinda hp increase did u get. i looked at maxbore.com and the quality looks real good and ill probably end up going through that site

 

um never got it dyno'd. my shop that i go to say's the quality of the work is really nice, plus never had any problems. and here in cali no one know that its been bored out.

i have seen the stock gsr manifold with out the butterflies. the guy was running 12.3 in a EK all motor, so i guess that works if you are trying to stick to stock look..
