Default Rev Limiter.

I was just wondering why the rev limiter on VX's is so low that it tops out at 6k rpms... I was wondering about chipping the ECU. Would that do anything at all?

the vx is meant for saving gas not performance. no need to rev it any higher for no good reason.

Basically that's exactly the reason.

It's more of an econoshitbox than the rest of civics.

It's not meant to be a mean drag racing machine... It's made with the intent of hopefully never seeing the red line in the hopes of gas mileage.
