Ok, so I just got my Odyssey PC680MJT battery and mounting bracket in, now my Q is where the hell should a i mount it. I saw a pic of a 4th gen. who had it mounting where the battery support goes near the tranny, but our engine bay is not smooth there to mount it, I don't want to move it out of engine bay, but i want to make it more discret, any ideas/pics???
You can easily mount it by the tranny, just under where the stock battery tray would be.
Sorry it's a sucky picture:

There are a couple of spacers behind the side mount for the tray.
I'd be interested in selling the tray cheap. It's a modified stock battery tray with a side plate welded to it. It's not exactly pretty, but it's functional. I used it during my last track event. You'd have to fab a better tie down, and that's about it.
Oh sorry, I just noticed you have a 680, this is for a 545.

I was just thinking about this and boom.
What is the smallest battery that they have at Autozone?
I mean, Civic batteries are smaller than Ludes. Maybe I should buy one for like $40 bucks and make a little room for the intake.
$80 bucks for the Odessey.
What do you guys think?
OkAY: update: I answered my own question.
This is a comparison of a CRX battery Vs. Odessey P series.

On a 5Gen, that would have to be a pretty darn small battery to fit where the fuse box is located!!
The PC545 is very, very small compared to the stock battery, and only weighs 12 lbs (IIRC)!

i hvae that bracket form summit for the 680, but i didn't see how it would stay there, the engine bay is not smooth there, unless i get some long *** hell screws

Nope, to be honest, I was as creative as possible... Figured it out w/o any inspiration and ever since i have had NO issues with this install at all.
I can remove the battery in less than 5 minutes w/ a 10mm crescent wrench and an allen wrench (to remove terminals)

In all honesty that is a hell of a lot better than untieing a battery box in the trunk, opening it, and removing the damn screws and bolts to remove the wires and lifting a 35 pound battery from a weird position in the dark corner of a trunk.
If I could do it over I would keep it in the engine bay, and just buy a smaller battery.
