Default 2 H22 swap questions

I'm about to drop an H22 into my '97 cx with the place kit. I've got a couple of questions:

axle setup: what to use? I hear that 2nd gen integra axles will work... is this true? If not, I was thinking i'd get some from driveshaftshop.

Can I use the prelude intermediate shaft, or do i need to change it as well?

How about the ecu... I've heard many people talking about using a GSR ecu... why not the lude ecu?

Any thought on 2nd gen integra axles? What about the half-shaft?

Im pretty sure the 90-93 is right. If someone still has that Sport Compact Car with that swap done into the EG they can check for you.

GSR ecu will be better. H22 sucks. Just get the GSR ecu and you won't be regretful. If you get the 94+ integra axles, you can use the h22 intermediate shaft.

If its stock you will be kicking urself, a GSR ecu runs dangerously lean on an H22 with the stock maps

If you are going to go with some form of Hondata then you cant use the H22 P13 Ecu and would have to go with a GSR P72 ecu.

really.... I am planning on going hondata in the future, but until I can afford it I have a fields fuel controller.

My local shop guy told me that I could pull a bunch of stuff off the motor... the egr, for example... but he was saying that it would throw a code using the prelude ecu.

He alsto told me that because I can't hook up that resistor box for the ibjectors, I could just ust the RC 310cc's off my old b18c.... how will those a stock p72 run the h22 with those injectors? Will those take care of my caturated vs peak and hold injector issue?

Another question: how do I physically the the motor in there? The car is on jack stands ands I have a engine hoist, but it looks waaaay to wide to fit in there from the top... can it be done?

Okay a few things first. What year is the lude engine??

If it is 95 and lower then you will already have peak hold injectors and you will need the resistor pack. If it is 96+ then you will have saturated injectors and you wont need the resistor pack..

Better to use the lude ECU if you are still stock now. The GSR one will work but your fuel and timing maps will be off..

Two options: Either use the factory Prelude ECU or get a GSR ECU chipped for a Prelude to compensate for the differences in fuel requirement AND so you can eliminate the knock sensor and EGR system.

well, the motor is a JDM '95.... so its obdI. It seems to be looking like i'lll use the lude ecu...

how would I wire in the resistor box? I think i'm gonna have to use my stock wiring harness and modify it to work.... how do I get the resistor box in there....

or can I just use my 310cc rc injectors from my b18c.... is that a good flow rate? what's the flow rate on the injectors stock?

P&H H22 injectors are rated at 340cc. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the saturated lude injectors are 290cc.
