Default What next?

Well as many of you know, i just decided to run nitrous in my car. First impression is awsome and i plan on getting it tuned asap. Just wondering what else i could do before getting tuned that would make the nitrous Safer, or gain more power without spending TOO much money. I would consider Type S cams + adj cam gears, but is it really worth $400+ for 5whp? In addition, i would also consider a new header, but spending the difference to get a good one (rmf, rage) would be upwords of $1000 for an additional 10 whp. What else do you reccomend? I just purchased some 205/50/15 BF goodrich drag radials... Maybe Traction bar setup? or CF hood (have trunk)

Keep in mind, I want to run as LOW 1/4 times (so no subwoofers or etc)

what type of times u think i could pull this season?

I ran 14.4 @ 100 w/ 2.29 60ft on 205/50/15 nitto 450's (NO TRACTION) w/o spray

spoon radiator caps and stainless steel clutch lines are engine mods? haha jk, I would say cams + valvetrain + adj cam gears = good amt of power for the money. But I would not say to get type s cams.... so I don't know if that's still in your budget.

I actually think i can hit 13.9 or so in its current state (w/o n20)

Traction was a HUGE issue before.. spinning through first and second

now w/ the drag radials at low pressure , i plan to cut 1.9-2.0 60fts and I will be tuned...

hoping on 190-200whp so we'll see

then 260-270whp with the nitrous I hope to see low 13's at the track... I CANT WAIT!

a window switch is a relay based on rpm that wont allow nitrous to be sprayed over the selected rpm. So basically it protects you from spraying during a misshift and it can shut off the nitrous just before you shift.

Its a protection type thing.
