m2b4 tranny with no lsd??
i have a m2b4 tranny but when i launch it always pulls to the side and theres only 1 tire mark.......i got it with a swap package do u think it just doesnt have the lsd unit inside???
hmm id like to know this aswell. i havnt tested my m2b4 out yet. i boought mine with my swap package hopefully tonight i will. could it just be your lsd is on its way out the door?
quick way to check for an lsd is to oull the axles out and look through the tranny. if theres a bar in the middle of the hole, then you are peg legging, but if theres not, you got your lsd there

smart.
btw i know this is a stupid question but are you sure it's not a M2A4?

on the street or track, 225 50 15 bfgs stays pos the whole time, 1st and 2nd gear... we'll see how it peforms on 10" wide slicks soon enough

Thats not true, if it was a welded diff it would spin the same way same speed. but if you spin the tire by hand it will usually spin the oposite way as long as you have any type of differential.
Some one on here the other day said he jacked up his type r and spun one wheel and the other one spun the opposite direction.

true. I have a m2b4 and when I spin the tire on one side, the other one spins in the opposite direction. pull out the axles and see if you can look through it. shouldn't have a pinion shaft in the middle if it's LSD.

you should feel it around say a hairpin turn where you car would normally spin the inside wheel. with the lsd it should grip and follow through the turn.

very true. I feel it more in turns then the straights.
