Is removing the valve cover as simple as removing the screws or is there more involved. I want to remove it to completely scrub it clean, but I need to know if I'm going to need a new gasket or any other pieces before I do this. Thanks a lot.

 

its as simple as removing all the bolts, i think thers 8 or so of them. Just be careful removing it. While you should get a new gasket and spark plug gaskets, If you inspect the current ones, and they don't appear messed up, you should be just fine in using the stock ones.

u have to disconnect the wire going to the alternator and move it out of the way.....remove the bolts holding the valve cover and bracket for the p/s hose....remove pcv valve and breather hose....get a new valve cover gasket and hondabond

 

You should have no problem its real easy.

 

make sure when put the nuts back on that you dont overtorque them, its really easy to snap one of these bolts.
