What kind of LSD is this?
Okay I have searched and searched and when I think I find a conclusive answer, the next post contradicts what I have just read. So...
This is a YS1 cable tranny out of a 92 Integra XSI. It has the optional LSD. You look through the diff where the axles go and there is no pin, you see all the way through.
Is this helical? Is this viscous? Is this clutch? Thanks a lot guys, I know you get tired of posts like this, but I am really curious.
Here is a pic if that helps when I inspected the syncs.

See thats the thing. I've searched so many threads about the lsds in these cable trannies... some people say, "viscous lsds are very rare and were mainly used in honda's 4wd applications" some people say "honda used viscous before 92" some people say "only ITR trannies are helical". Hell one post there were a couple of people who seemed to know what they were talking about and said that most of the oem honda LSDs were clutch type.
Let's strike my current statement then until clarification and lets see if we can get one of the transmission guru's in here. Shoot user Bense a PM and see if he can offer his insight.
I had the same one its viscous, they suck get a helical type R, its more than likely worn out by now anyway. you can tell because it has a lot of bolts like 13 or 14 most other diffs have much less bolts
