Default Another TSX Retro - Customlightz rocked my headlights!

Sent them brand new Si lamps, TSX projectors and MDX shrouds. They cutoff modded them to produce a blue/purple color and painted them low gloss black to match the original color of the lamps (i'm not a big fan of the glossy look). I should have them this week, then i'm in florida, when i get back i'll install and get new pics with 4300 xenons.

on to the pics...

Again, a big shout out to Bjorn, he really is a great guy and was very helpful during this process, he gets an big two thumbs up from me!

Well, i spent $320 for the headlights (TRE_), 170 for projectors, 90 for the MDX headlights that i took the shrouds out of (sold the MDX projectors for $60) then the cost of labor which you can email CustomLightz for depending on what you want done.

Not a cheap project but well worth it in my opinion, i just can't real with the halogens in reflectors...too 1990.

So after the MDX core, we are looking at about 520 plus labor and shipping costs. Thats not bad at all for HID's. I would have to say they are well worth it. And on top of that you still have your original lights in case anything happens. Definitely something for me to think about. Thanks blue for the info. I will have to look into their pricing once the time comes. Maybe drop my income tax check on it

thats not bad at all. So i would assume its about a little over 1k for a HID retrofit. Definitely not bad considering you get to keep your original headlights and there is no down time. Thanks for the info blue rocket and type x. Appreciate it.

that's where i got my projectors (not that cheap though!), i got the MDX lamps off of ebay (FYI - you can have 2 of the same side MDX lights for the shrouds...do not need a right and left light).

i think it depends on how quick you want it done. I told them it was no rush and they were done within two weeks. If you want it done sooner i think they have a priority option. Hope that helps!

i've installed them, they look AMAZING, i have a blue/purple cutoff that just looks rediculously hot and right from CustomLightz they were perfectly aligned! I'm not going to be around tonight... but hopefully tomorrow i can get some installed pics.

Overall my excitement for these on a 1-10 scale is an 11, they light up the road like daylight and look like they should have came that way from the factory!

Two HUGE thumbs up to Bjorn and CustomLightz!

I'm curious as to where did you people with the
custom hid headlights put the hid box in your car.
Pictures or telling me where would be great.
