this only stared a few days ago.
every time when i step on the clutch pedal, it would make a weird sound.

any idea why this would happen ??

 

same here, i get some "spring" weird noise once in a when depressing the clutch.
but it comes and goes!

 

yeah that's the same problem i'm having.

i had the same problem on my EK also >_< what's with da?

one of two things.. .either pressure plates springs or you need some WD40.

 

I had that same problem on my gsr a couple years ago .. it would squeek when you pressed it in. You can check to make sure it's lubed correctly where the shaft goes into the slave cylinder (yeah, yeah) at the firewall and also look in the engine bay around the master cylinder to make sure it's got enough lube on it. You can pull the rubber cover back and check that - have someone step on the clutch and see if you can isolate where it's coming from in the engine bay. I think someone said something similar to this a couple of days ago in another thread

 

I got the exact same noise. It sounds like the pedal, but while a helper was working the pedal, I listened in the engine comp and it sounds like it originates in the bell housing. Must be clutch or release fork?

 

so what should i do? to fix it? if that's the problem?

 

I've drenched the assembly under the dash with white lith. grease, and now I'll try greasing the rod (heh heh ). If that does not kill it, I guess you have live with it until its clutch replacement time.

Marine quality (ie boat stuff) grease for the shifter fork/release bearing slide shaft.
wd-40 will just clean the stuff off and the noise will come back...
