i didnt know where to post this thread, sorry if this is the wrong place....

i have a B18B1 engine in my Civic EG....OBD1.....and my car stoped runnin...so me and a friend opened the distributor since it wasnt sparkin and we found that the Coil (i believe that's what its called) had a broken piece.. ..the piece that was broken was the NEGATIVE black piece where you screw the POS and NEG wires...
anyway...i have a B20 Distributor laying around and was wondering if i could just swap the coil with no problems??if they have the same part number and could use that with no worries????thanks in advance

Yeah the coil is the same it should work fine.
