Anyone use a CRV to tow?
Just wondering if anyone has ever towed anything with a CRV... Im picking one up tomorrow, and just wondered if I could use it to tow my race car on a tow dolly... I know towing it on the dolly will keep a lot of weight off the truck, but just wondered if anyone knows from experience... Its an 03 LX 2wd

he's right. it's all about the weight of the truck. i use my CRV to two my jetski and had to make sure the tongue weight was at 100lbs. Even with just a 500lbs jetski and about 150lbs trailer, the CRV was a complete turtle. You have to gain speed going downhill or it'll struggle going uphill.
Beyond that, tow hitch companies don't make a hitch beyond a Class I which is the lightest load rated at a tongue weight of 110lbs. I wanted to trailer my front clip and they wouldn't let me. They wouldn't even let me with a Pilot, I had to get a 4Runner. Good luck!
