Default Heater blowing cold air after H22 swap

Hi,

I just did a H22 swap and I filled the system up with water/coolant mix and the car got upto operating temp "2 full bars-4th gen" and I'm pretty sure all the air is out of the system. BUT the air blows cold, I kept the heater on during the entire process. I noticed that the recirc button was on.

could the heater core get airlocked? any help on this thanks

also, is the USDM thermostat and JDM thermostat different?

We couldn't find one locally because the JDM one was much bigger than the ones sold locally

Did you hook up your heater hoses up and correctly?

I double checked the hoses and they were hooked up correctly...so the heater started working today. Not sure why it didn't last night. All is good thanks for the help
