dont know if i should post here or in the civic area but i posted on both...hey watup guys...i have an ek with k20-r swap and i have the kpro...i full throttle it yesterday and seen the check engine light flashing...i looked on my laptop with the kpro and i looked under knock sensor and it says i can enable it...should i enale it or leave it on...is it telling me somthing? i guess when its flashin i have a knock problem? correct or wrong? what could be the problem of the knock? im still running 87 octane cause i trying to get rid or it so i can put in 92..can someone help me out!!!

Uhm theres your possible reason right there. Go full it up with 92-higher. That motor is not tuned to run on 87.

haha holy **** you did a k swap and your not shelling out the money for premium???even worse its a k20r which is higher compression....your getting knocks so fill it up with the non cheap ****... are you tuned or running a base map?
dear christ man. i would slap a hoe for that swap in my dc5 to make it the authentic sexy jidm . you gotta at least attempt to take care of it man. my friend just blew up his h22 motor for that same reason. vtec engines hate low octane in the fuel supply
