well.....i got my prelude si vtec june ....71,000 miles it was driven by a fifty yr old guy....until he died i bought it put 7,000 miles and fifth gear kind of grinds goin into and now it wont go into reverse.....clueless....i dont have enough money to get a tranny...but what should i do...any suggestions?????thnx

 

Maybe its time to flush your tranny.

Make sure you fill 'er up with quality fluids. Perhaps get one of those funky magnetic drain bolts as well.

 

The Fifth gear grind is actually a defect in most eairler H22's . I dont know about your reverse though.
