Do you guys backpurge stainless downpipes? Just curious if you guys backpurge downpipes. I backpurge turbo manifolds, but not downpipes right now.

I did mine, but not with a constant flow of argon. I tacked it all up, covered the ends with aluminum foil, and put 2 small holes in for my gas to flow in and out the other end. Then I bled the gas into it for about 30 seconds to make sure it was purged, welded it up, and didn't have any issues with crap on the insides.

 

I purge my downpipes, I also tac mine together and fill the whole thing up with argon but not pressured, just a constant stream running through it. works GREAT! but DAMN its a pain to refill my bottle when doing pie cuts lol.
