.... im happy with it... Im very Excited to have it....it took me 5 months to save up for it .....i been a member for awhile but never posted just lurked around all the time..ill post some pics later
Just wanted to ask what are the things that i should look at this is my first "New" car with 30 miles on it i know i need to wait to 600 miles so i could drive it hard what else is there to know? When should i Due my oil Change?Etc....
I got the extra warrantie with it 6 years i know i could cancel any time but just wanted to know that if the warrantie its worth it?
thanks in advance

can you guys stop with this ******* "MY" bullshit in front of the year of your S2000!!!
MY03, MY04
blah blah, of course its the manufacturing year, what else would it be?!
03, 04 does just fine
im so sick of the S2KI.com "MY" s2000 obsession, its pointless, makes the s2000 guys look like a bunch of retards and it's pointless letters!
not bashing the OP, just getting really sick of everyone using this completely retarded MY crap
you dont hear people saying,
"yeah, so i just picked up my MY06 Enzo, or any other car for that matter
no one cares about the MY, if your car is an 07, then its an 07, no one cares if it was made in 06, 07 or 08, if its a 2007 model, then thats all we care about
yes, a lot of cars are made a different year than the model year, but that doesnt mean ****!
sorry

change it as normal as it says in manuel
just do it at 3k
also, make sure you get on it pretty hard OUT of vtec the first few hundred miles to make everything seal right. Give it WOT, but stay out of vtec until 600 miles

Wash it at your house, use a nice lambskin mit, use a separate sponge for the car and wheels, I like drying with microfiber towels. Also, you might want to get the car professionally detailed, I can see it has some swirl marks already. Nice car.

hahhahah! LMAO. Okay, I gotta question for you.
Why is it that a majority of all DC2-R owners (including yourself) have to use the acronyms of paint codes in front of their cars? :
"Oh, Check out my sick *** 96' CW ITR #????"
"Oh, Look, it's my new car. 01' PY ITR #????" etc. etc.
We all know that CW stands for Championship White.
We all know that PY stands for Phoenix Yellow.
We all know that Type R's are rather rare but why put the Production #?
Why not just say you have a 96' ITR that is white?
Why not just say you have a 01' ITR that is yellow?
We will automatically assume that if we see a white DC2-R, it's Championship White and if we see a yellow ITR, its Phoenix Yellow beacuse its a DC2-R.

I'm so sick of the "The Acronym Color Code" ITR obsession. It's pointless and makes ITR guys look like a bunch of retards with it's pointless letters!
By looking @ your Sig, you fall into the category of one of "us" guys. Although, being an s2000 owner, I have never used "MY" before ever.
Don't give us a hard time. Speak for yourself.
EDIT: On a lighter note, I Love DC2-R's. I was going to pick up on one before I picked up my AP but had a change of heart. I have nothing against DC2-R owners whatsoever, so if you're an owner, please don't take this the wrong way. I'm just proving a point
