Every time I put it in second it will hesitate for a split second and then rev fine afterwards. I just put in a new cap and rotor and new bosch platinum 2 spark plugs which I didnt torque down I just made it tight. I made sure to watch the firing order when putting it back together. They seem fine and the plug wires are on tight. I haven't had a chance to check on it because im at work... just tryin to get some ideas so when i get home I can fix it quick.

Have you run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner recently? Would be worth a try.

Also it could be a clogged fuel filter.

You say this happened right after you changed your plugs? I would double check the gap and get a torque wrench to get them at the right spot, they might not be far down enough in the cylinders.

Change the plug wires? Had a similar problem on my 95 GSR, it sputtered/hesitated then would go. I changed the wires and problem was solved.

 

Yes it happened right after I changed all this crap. The plugs are pre gapped and im going to torque them down tonight, usually hand tight is good buy i guess not in these cars. As for the wires, Im going to be changing them today also.
