yes it will affect your emissions, why? because you will have larger displacement you will be dumping more fuel and air into the cyliners...thus creating more exhaust and emissions, im not saying you'll fail but you will have more emissions...

Its a tough call, but for the most part a stroker kits takes away from the rev-ability. The simplest way I think i can try to explain this is stick your arm out in front of you and bent it at a 90 degree angle, fist upward. Bear with me, this is where it tends to be a litlle ridiculous. Thrust your elbow down and then straight back up like an uppercut, stop your fist when it is level with your shoulder. Do it a few times as fast as you can. Okay, now try this again, only fully extend your arm upward over your head, as fast as you can. See, it takes a whole lot more time to do the latter of the two. Rods are subject to this same general principle, although there are a lot more factors, but for the sake of argument, this is a fair analogy. If the entire rotating assembly is properly balanced, and you are tuning it hard and have built this thing proper, it is possible, but not so probable. Decks on B16s suck to stroke anyways because they are so short. Rod/Stroke ratio is garbage. For the money, as far as stroking is concerned, get a B18/B20 block, there stroke measurments are the same, 84mm if I'm not mistaken. Good luck, B16s are my favorite

dont be so concerned about rpm. you should only rev as high as your cams will make power to. any higher and you're wasting your time.
