Okay, i need some help from people who know motors. I have a 95 gsr integra with a b16a. I have a VAFC in it also. I know the motor has way high miles on it, an it is useing the GSR ECU. The harness and ECU is OBD1 still. An its a very first gen b16a.
My issue is this, I took out the thermstat b/c it was not working right. I would open up late, and when the car warmed up for a while it was slower. So i know my block is warn, but my problem is my idel.

The Idel Sensor on the back of the intake i think is no longer good. About 2 months ago my idel started surgeing. From like 1500rpm to like 3000rpm. Then a month later got worse, it shot up to like 7000rpm almost when i started it. I know nothing was opening up the Intake, it was just at a idel. An with my VAFC i could see how much gas i gave the pedel and it was shooting up to 7000rpm with nothing giving it throtle.

So i disconected the idel sencer on the very back of the intake. An now it will bobble between 1400 rpm and 1500 rpm really rough. Like i will pop my hood and watch my motor shift back and forth at that idel. An it is really clear an rough. And when i drive it, i have to give the car 4% throttel for it to idel up at all. Wich is way weird. It wont idel up when i give it 3.5% but only 4% and more on the gas peddle.

So im really spooked? i have no more ideas! anyone have any ideas? I think its my sencor on the back or the intake. But what sensor would i change to fix my problem with my Throtle? Any posts or help will help me out. If anyone lives in oregon an could maybe give me some advise on where to take it to that would be sweet to.


If anyone has a B series head gaskit thats new i could buy from them that would be sweet I live in albany oregon.
