ok so heres the deal i want to go all motor but i dont no were to start i have i/h/e but after that i dont no were to start. I have about $1500 to spend. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 95 gsr with 117,000 miles. all and any help would be great. id be doing the work by myself.

Add a jdm 4.7 FD or the MF Factory 4.9 FD. Type r cams/Blox IM/some sort of engine management and have it tuned. You do those 3 and you'll **** your pants at the difference. Some valevtrain wouldn't be a bad idea either cuz you're gonna want to rev higher, I can gaurentee it.

clean rice, labor to install that FD would be $$$ though.

maybe buy an itr tranny, then sell the gsr.
not only will you have a better final drive, but better gearing and also an LSD already installed.

My gear set cost me $125 for installation. Are the FD's really that much harder? I carried my tranny in also, so it wasn't like he had to pull it out of the car. I am scared to do any tranny work myself
