Im pretty sure that the arc welder stick would melt almost instantly.

I'd suggest asking him then, as he's probably the best guy you can ask. He can probably flux-core weld than some robotic tig machines...

He was banned a while back, but theres some welding forums I've seen him on. I don't have links on this computer, but a search on google will find a few good welding forums.

I think he means he used the torch as a stinger, not to TIG weld with it.

Exactly.

Kinda like a gased stick weld thing-a-ma-jig. I wonder how it looked.

He means that he used the tig torch as the electrode holder.

yeah Ive done that, its annoying though feels and looks so much different than a regular electrode holder.
