Don't drive foolishly on rain soaked roads would be a good start. A better suspension isn't going to get you out of accidents

Not true!! a beter suspension would have helped during that situation depending on how fast you were going. A full coilover is the best way to go as far as handeling, but you also have to drive smart. Good swaybars help a lot also as well as good sticky tires.

Take it to track and learn how to better control your car.

Getting coilovers, swaybars, etc. are justing going to cover your mistakes and can only take you so far. Learn how to utilize the full potential of your car at a track where its safer.

Auto-X, its pretty cheap to do.

The most probable reason for spinning out was because of driver error, not suspension. I think you probably lifted and experienced lift-throttle oversteer.

What tires are you using?
Also, whats your budget?

From what I remember Skunk 2 coilovers aren't to bad. So look into better shocks.

Dont lift mid-corner....and start autoxing. It's cheap and a great way to learn how to handle ur car.

a "better" suspension in terms of racing/autox will just add more oversteer

what would have helped you in that situation would be less
so a stock suspension might have saved your *** cause you would have plowed into that corner instead of doing a 360

Stop buying parts and just auto-x with what you have. After you gain more experience then tweak the car to your liking based on what you feel on the track.

I think your getting confused with thinking a auto-x suspension setup being cheap. They can be just as expensive. We said to take your car to an Auto-x because to participate in the event is cheap unlike an HPDE.
