even if you paid 5$, thats still to much for something that lasted 5 minutes. plus u had to go through putting it on. i would have been pissed.

ive heard from people that laminx can withstand an x amount of temperature. and also that the foglight reaches * < x. but ive also heard like from people like caveman that it lasts only minutes. i dont know what to believe anymore

I paid $20 shipped for the yellow pre-cut ones. They state that if you will be idle for more then 15 minutes, then don't leave it on. And if you cut it yourself you should leave about 1/8in gap between the foglight edges to help it breathe better. Also I recommend that you shouldn't put more then one layer of lamin-x on the fogs to prevent burning. This info should help you from burning them.

I have the oem fogs with luminic jdm yellow bulbs i live in ny with shitty roads i have no lamin x and my lights still shine yellow and ive had no issues with them cracking so whats the big deal with lamin-x does it protect the casing or is it for looks.

very true.

I Have a few buddies around here with yellow fogs. An Acura RSX-S with OEM fogs. And my friend with a Saturn ION. and a buddy with an SRT-4. Both of them used kryon and just covered the fog with it.

Kryon can be found at Michaels and works really well.

Heres a video we made of his car and you can see the yellow fogs really well.

Your suppose to have about an 1/8th of an inch around the circumference of the foglight to provide room to breathe. Mines are precut from lamin-x and the instructions say that.

I would recommend RockBlocker's products wholeheartedly, I had them on my STi and never had any problems with the film burning off and didn't hear of anyone who did. They are more $$ than Laminix but they use a much more durable 3M film.

Link for '06-'07 Civic Si: http://www.rockblocker.net/store/38103.htm

Jon

PS: They are really easy to work with!!

I had the precut that was given to me directly from the guys at Lamin-X. And they still burned off. Fogs get too hot for them.. 3M makes a film that is like Lamin-X.
