anything else i should look for its a 01 and it has 12k honda certified . they want 20k for it you think i should try to go lower on the price? Its internet pricing i think if i hold out for a lil he will budge with me and give it for less. the only thing i dont like is the plastic window it looks like *** .

Get a hard to then you dont have to worry about the plastic Plus it looks way better

try to lower the price because i bought an 03 at commonwealth for 18,500.
20,000 with 12k is good but try any ways

 

Price is high, try to lower it 2k or more

 

You can get a new rear plastic window. They unzip. I also know a guy selling the top with rear glass off his wrecked AP2 for $500. My point is....don't buy a car based on the rear window being plastic or glass. My friend picked up a 2002 AP1 (rear glass window) with same mileage as me for $9k more... not worth it.

 

Bargain for a couple of grand cheaper. I just went to go pick a 01 up for my pops for $20K. It only had 6,000 miles and it has never seen rain.

The guy had an awesome garage full of nice toys!

 

Thats high. We have a 01 s2k for 17 9 with low mileage. We also have a black 03 for 19.

 

Thats a really good price. Ofcourse, you should try to bargain, but nobody seems to have seen the HONDA CERTIFIED part. (Around here) that means you've got a 100k warranty AFTER the miles that are on the car. So essentially, that means you've got a powertrain warranty till 109k. Peace of mind is really nice to have. You could go road racing every weekend. Take the car in between now and 109k when it starts burning oil or valve ticking, and its all under warranty. Ofcourse...they can tell if it's been abused, (revved beyond 9k, clutch dropped, etc.). They might turn you down if the abuse is over the top, But Honda is very good with warranty claims (atleast around here). Just mod smart so you can put it back to stock when you have to take it in for a warranty claim.

Idunno...20k for a S2000 with 9K miles and a warranty till 109k is a pretty damn good deal.

 

so basically here what i came up with if i can get the car for 20k with the had top i will do it
i have been looking around and i seen 01 going for 17k and it had 15k on it, and a 03 for 19k with 15k also on it .

 

The Honda certified warranty is only good for 7 years from the original in service date. so basically he only gets a 1.5 year or less warranty. Not worth the money imho.

corretion its a 1 year 12k warranty and its 80kor 100k powertrain warranty...

 

I jut got an 02 with a hard top for 18000 with 30k on it. The car was in excelent condition with new tires. Although I washed it and well the fornt emblem flew off and that pissed me off. But a little bit of car-safe glue and its back. I almot settled for a 350z and im glad I didn't. I love the S2k, bottom line get what you want and don't settle for less.

 

untrue, if you look on Honda's website it clearly states all warranty's are from the in service date.
