Default Cams or ITM

I have a b18a with header, and intake. I have a fart can on right now (almost gone cat back on its way) and was wondering what I should do first. I was going to go with skunk 2 ITM first before cams, but my father was telling me that it would be pointless to do and that I would have to do so many other things before i put the ITM in or the cams. What should I do? My plans are to stay wtih the b18a and just build it. I dont plan on going turbo.

Depends on how much money you have or plan to spend in the future.

That does not answer the question. How much do you have to spend?

You could sleeve the block for around $900. Bore it to 85mm. Run 11:1 85mm pistons-$500. Get some good connecting rods-$650. Have the head ported $1000. Good all motor cams-Crower 404's perhaps--$350. Valve springs and retainers-$350. Good header-$600+. Exhaust-$450. Port the intake manifold-$400. Hondata S100-$195. Tuning-$300.
5-6k and you have a non-VTEC monster.

What should I buy first after I get the new exhaust? Money really isnt an issue its just time consuming. I was thinking of going with the major stuff close to last.

Buy a spare motor and build it. Buy all of the parts that you plan on running. Then install it and tune. If money is not an issue.
