Civic hatch body conversion?
Is it possible to put the 2000 Civic hatch back front and rear end on a 1993 Civic hatch? I like the grill on the 2000 and the tail lights look much better. Any input is appreciated.

Because of $ man. I have an Integra LS with many mods that I still will continue to put money in to. My brother also has the same car and he modifies his as well. In addition to our own cars, we want to buy a beater hatch and turn it in to a project car. I want to buy a crap one and make it look better as well as make it go faster.

96+ tails on a 92-95 hatch would be disgusting. up there with that green one with mustang taillights. the rear of the EG doesnt have the lines to match 96+ taillights. instead of putting all that money into making the EG look like crap and not to mention be even heavier after you use all that bondo and sheet metal - spend it in performance mods.
eg's look awesome, ek's look awesome, but you can only have one or the other, don't mix and match.

damn dude for the price to convert your 92-95 hatch into a 99 you could just go buy a damn ek, you silly rabbit trix are for kids
doing the ek front end conversion isn't too bad.
need fenders, hood bumper, lights, and front reincforcement bar ( i think that the right name)
you'll have to cut the eg fender in half, and put the front part of the ek fenders onto the eg fenders. should bolt up after that.
my friend did.
looks nice.
the rear end is a bigger headache. i wouldn't bother.
oh yeah to not get made fun on this board. you need to do the conversion to jdm ek, and you'll be okay.

Would the 96+ taillights even fit in the same space as the 92-95. I say just buy a 96+ it would probably be cheaper anyway... after getting all the custom crap done it would be like buying 2 cars
ive seen the front end conversion done and think i have a pic on my computer at home.. ill look for it and post it if i find it.. it looked good in my opinion..
