where do you change the light bulb that lights up the numbers on the shifter? do you remove the center console to replace it? on a 2000 prelude

 

I don't think there is a light on the auto shift stick itself, or at least mine hasn't got one (97) unless the bulbs always been blown since I got the car. The illuminated Green display on the dash is the visual display regarding the selected gear that I use on a night time.

 

ya u have to remove the center console then remove the plate that has your grears written on it and there is a bulb under neath.
