The first think that will probably pop into everyones mind about making their own mounts or mounting fixture is axle alignment. However, I am only interested in knowing if anyone has ever made their own.

Hasport is, from stats, the monopolizers of the 84-87 crx. $599, oh my goodness! The mount kit would be worth more than the whole car in nearly perfect condition. Besides that, Hasport doesn't sell steel mounts, so of course they will always be expensive. Oh well, no one ever said that I had to have an 87 crx either.
