Default searched with no luck...98-01 integra with acura tl HID's?

Was at the junkyard today and picked up a HID setup out of a newer TL.

Anyway, I figured I would pick them up, being I wan't too sure how to retrofit into my headlight housing.

I'd like to know if someone could point me in the right direction? I know the bulbs do not have the same "socket" type, I wanted to know what I need to purchase to make the HID's compatible? I'd like as OEM an install as possible.

TIA

i'm not sure what your particular HID's look like but here is the way one guy did it. It comes out somewhat oem looking.

The best advice I can offer is to sell the setup you found, and then purchase one made for 9006 housings. As you know, drop-in kits aren't ideal, but if you want to use one in your stock halogen projectors, you really want capsules that have proper bases for your application. It is important that the correct focal length is maintained, and also that they seal well.

paid 200..the junkyard sold me a broken navigation system that they guaranteed, so he knocked off some price.

Padawan, is it possible to keep the ballasts and use a 9006 bulb?

It would depend upon which capsules you bought. Some use a proprietary connector, but you may be able to find properly based capsules that are compatible with standard ballasts.

make sure you seal those ballast very well or mount them somewhere, where they will not get wet. I had a set in my dd and they burnt out b/c water got in them where the white plastic piece is.
