WHAT UP MAN...I HAVENT BOUGHT IT YET...I AM STATIONED HERE AT YOKOTA AB...I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE UNDER 10GS...THE ONE I FOUND WAS A 98 AND THE DUDE WANTED 13GS WHICH IS A LITTLE TO MUCH...BUT MY QUESTION WAS NEVER ANSWERED...WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET THE CAR READY TO SHIP IT TO THE STATES AND IF IT IS WORTH IT...CUZ IF IT NOT I AM WILLING TO GET A XSI AND STRIP THE **** OUT OF IT...I WOULDNT BE ABLE TO DO THAT TO A TYPE R...IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...BUT THANKS MAN...
to be honest with you. shipping would probably cost as much. lol Not sure what it cost but its alot of money. If i were you and would like to drive a legal car here. buy an R here. Not much difference besides that the one in jap is faster.. and has a front conversion... and rhd... and everyone wants that here... so that means you get a less chance of people stealing it if you buy a usdm one!
I KNOW IT IS A LOT OF MONEY...AND TO SELL IT...NO THANX...I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT I NEED TO GET IT LEGAL SO I CAN DRIVE IT....AND ARMANIEX92....WHAT UP MAN....I SENT YOU A PM...I GUESS...ANYWAYS MAN....CAN YOU FIND ME ONE FOR ABOUT 10GS...THE ONE HERE THE DUDE WANTS 13GS....THANKS MAN

Legalizing a RHD differentiates from state to state. I think ?
I know in CA is nearly impossible to get a RHD legalized unless you have a friend in the DMV or you legalized it a couple years back when it was easier. Also, to import the car would cost a grip too. The cost you importing and buying the car from Japan - you probably could've bought a USDM ITR and do the JDM conversion. And it'll be legalized... Legalizing the car is a whole 'nother story that I don't know anything about.
