Default d16y8 not running right need help asap!

i have a d16y8 with only 70k on it (bone stock except dcsport 4-1 header)in my theft recovery 99 SI. i drive it 130miles round trip everyday to work and and back, Never had a single problem but today i put $10 of gas in it to get me home and noticed it sounded kinda like it had a rod knock so i checked the oil and it was fine i then check the rad and it was basiclly full so when i got home i put 92 octane in it and the gas pin seems to have disapeared but now my car when i get on it has a loss of power mid range and it seems to be a lot louder than usual. is this maybe due to bent valve? what are some things i should check?

Whats up? Do you have a check engine light on? whats the code?if you don't have a code reader you can go to a local advance, autozone,or oreilly's and get it scanned ,(here in ky.they do it for free.)
does it have a dead miss?
Did it happen before or after you put $10.00 worth of gas in it?
is it weak during accelleration directly on throttle from a take off?
were you just driving and all of a sudden did it start acting like this?
its hard to diagnose problems online, but i may be able to help you, i have a repair shop, thats why i'm asking so many questions..
do this first put a piece of paper over your exhaust while its idling and see if it sucks the paper in your exhaust pipe , if it does, chances are you have a burnt, or bent valve,

Chris

this happened after i put the gas in it. It only seems to be week in the mid range rpms. then it kinda starts to pull agian around 6k. not to mention it is noticably louder than it was earlier today. i did you paper test with a full sheet and it blew it back then i tried it with a 1x1 inch square and it swirled around the tips and fell out? what does that mean? as far as a dead miss im not sure what you mean by that but it doesn't seem to be missing really just lagging. oh and the check engine light doesn't come on (as in it is shut off all together because when i had the last motor in the car there were sensors that were not hooked and it never came on when it clearly should have.) thanks for your imput
