Hi, I know that the stock spacing for the front door speaker is 1-7/8" but I measured the new speaker and it turned out to be 2-1/16". It doesn't seem to be too much larger.

I was wondering if it'll fit without any modifications, if it needs a spacer, can I buy one? or do I have to make it?

yes all you need to do is cut the back out of the stock palstic basket that is in the door.
