I am serious. They have a GPS tracker to track your kids mobile phone. In our case we can turn off the ringer and put it in silent mode and hide the phone anywhere within the car that can not be found easily and if the car ever gets stolen,, you can track where the car is your self via your phone go pick it up with a full police squad behind you. Am I missing something ?????

 

interesting, but keeping the phone charged w/o taking it out of the car is a problem unless you can redirect a source of power for it. I wonder what the monthly charge is?

sounds like a good idea, you whould just need to either figure out a way to keep a constant power source, or get a car charger and put it on a timer, like figure out how long it takes on average for the batt to die, and set the timer to come on then and charge for a set amount of time, so you dont destroy the battery, like you whould if you kept it on a car charger all the time

Any phone with the GSM tracking option will work (not just verizon)... BUT verizon typically has better service area coverage... meaning you'll have a greater chance of being in range nationwide.

 

you cant track you phone from the internet with verizon phones, you can only get directions from the phone

 

you call verizon and they tell you where you phone is...

 

Gmobile(or boost, amped, whatever) has similar phone and plan. $100 for the phone, and $12-17 per month for GPS tracking w/ two parameters and 100 minutes.

What are the details for this plan?
