Ok, I have a 90 DX hatchback with the stock engine. Lately I've been having idle problems, usually it's just really low rpms, like around 200. But the other day I was sitting at a light and it stalled on me. Then it wouldn't start back up for about a minute. Anyone have any ideas?? Please help, I don't want to start tearing into my car with no idea where to start. Thanks.

 

check thurmostat (usually for weird high idle probs but ya never know), also how are plugs and wires doing these days? the rotor? would have a possible broken iac valve.

 

Well, I know the thermostat is fine, since I have no overheating problems. The plugs are only about 2000 miles old, the wires, I have no idea. And I haven't had time to check for a vaccum leak since I'm at work right now. But I'll check on that in the morning after work.
