i just bought a ctr steering wheel and it has a gold badge. I was wondering if anyone knew why it would have gold instead of red?

I've never seen a CTR wheel with a gold badge. I'd like to see photos too.

now you need gold H emblems, lol.

 

hopefully the car will be done soon and i will post! but thats why i was asking cuz neither have i or the guy doing the build!

 

its off a 96-00 ctr from china!

 

Does it look like this? This is a jdm Accord Type R(CL1) steering wheel but it bolts up like a CTR wheel.

 

If it was a EP version, simply a sticker was replaced. Without seeing it, I would say it could be painted or maybe the yellow version. I hope Reid pops in here.

paid about $200 same i would have for a s2k one so im still a little happy, and this one is probably a little harder to find.

 

Definitely an Accord R wheel

 

its exactly the same but without the fancy RED-STITCHING...and i would miss it personally...but for $200, cant go wrong-

 

actually it does have the red stitching just not the red badge!

I had a JDM EK4 SiR a year or two back and it had a gold H badge in the centre and also had red stitching, he car also had gold H badges front/rear and gold HONDA badge on the rear. I assumed it was some special edition but maybe not.

 

that's what the guy doing the build and i thought but i don't know either!?!?!?
