As with any enhanced or modified part, it will if that part is a restriction and the engine can use the additional airflow.

I had Maxbore do my throttle body and in my case it did increse hp a couple above previous runs but I did it as part of an engine building strategy I've been working on where the stock stize TB would have been restrictive. They do awesome work and it's worth it in my personal opinion IF your engine is able to use the extra airflow.

is 62mm restrictive in a mild NA build? would 65mm show more gains with cams over stock 62?

Professional Products throttle bodies seem to be the best deal running you can get one new for under $150 shipped

I haven't seen a real differance in tb's it would probably be my last mod in my opinion. I have dynoed alot 1 to 3 whp here or there but a longer or shorter intake tube can make as much as 15 whp for 50 bucks verses 300 for a tb

Here is the comparison on the 3" intake with K&n filter verses modified length 3" pipe with K&n filter.

You really just have to dyno it and find out, there isn't a magic honda-tech length.

True, the shop I used to work at had a dynapack. We would do all kind of test into the weee hours of morning. We made a 6 foot intake the one day for ***** and giggles. It started to lose power though after we made the length of the intake too long.

What makes you so sure that honda-tech knows best? Be open minded to those who are more experienced than you, bearsEK has no reason to lie here....

Seems to me like larger throttle bodies on big engines do well, look at mine, how many i/h h22as do you see putting down 195whp?

dude, i TOTALLY believe you. cuz, DNR also have what they call "magic intak", basially just a 3" 3 feet intake with velocity stack, only 1 bend to tb. it ALWAYS makes additional power to any intake.

please share your experience and ignore the haters and the ignorant. they will never stop, so just ignore them completely. if you don't want to share it publically, let me know in private. thanks. your gains are MASSIVE!! but it shows 8 runs ... what changes did you make? ecu tuning?

Of course i tuned the intake, I tuned it to see a fair comparison of the two. the first intake was tuned, so i tuned the 2nd intake, Also i tuned it so when i make the intake for the customer i can put the 2nd intake program in his ecu so i don't have to tune it again. I said just drop your car off for a few hours and i will make your intake and burn a new chip= alot more hp!!!

That kind of mentality will keep you a back marker for life.
