How much is .25 over?
Anyone with building experience, I mean this in terms of thickness. Is it a significant amount? Can you compare to something in everyday life, or is it just to small to understand? (i.e. half the thickness of a dime) I want to build an h22 block that has scratches in cylinder one only. I am already fully aware of the FRM type sleeves, but i am just trying to get an idea if i can continue with this block. Resleeving is not an option and the choice of pistons would be Type-S 87.25. I may be able to have pictures up soon but right now I am without a camera. Thanks in advance HT.
it's ten one thousands of an inch (.010).a news paper is four one thousands of a inch (.004).
but when you are dealing with a bore diameter you have to split that .010 in half, half on one side of the bore and half on the other.
