Friend of mine works at a local honda shop and knows a honda rep from track days and the store, supposedly my friend is going to be the first one to have one in PA. Soon as it comes off the truck it gets torn apart, put on the dyno and waits for the sharkskinz to be ready

of course, favorite helmet of all time. too bad it's out of production. if anyone knows anybody selling a good condition X-Eleven Kato Replica, either the colors I'm wearing in the photo or the commemorative edition (which is light blue instead of red), in size MEDIUM, let me know, I'll buy it. mine is getting a little run down and needs to be retired. I have a custom X-Eleven getting done but I still love the Kato paint scheme.

Part Two of the 'First Ride' article should be up tomorrow afternoon (Pacific Time). Also headed back to Barber soon to ride the new ZX-6R so that should be interesting for comparison...
