Default Brand new magnaflow with incomplete weld on flange...

I just bought a new magnaflow 15641 complete exhaust for my 94 civic ex coupe, and the 2 bolt flange on the s-pipe is incompletely welded. I've contacted the seller and will contact magnaflow in a minute, I was just wondering how hard would it be to fix it (I don't have immediate access to a welder) if they cannot or chose not to resolve anything.
Here are the pics:

Its not like that the whole way around, just half way. It appears it only penetrated on the tubing and nothing on the flange; theres not even any heat marks on the flange, just on the tubing on this section. I dont want to jbweld it.

Other than that not bad for the price I paid for it, but I'd be damned if I had a corvette and bought one of their exhausts and found it like this; the exhausts for corvettes are over a grand.

edit: mods can you please correct the spelling on the title? it should say magnaflow.

I would be irritated if I spent my cash and recieved that. Call the seller /MFG and get it resolved if you get no help hope you paid with plastic call customer service and chargeback. Its sad these days customer service is going to hell

you'd think they'd catch that before it went out the door...

after seeing it I'm sure they will make it right.

cold lap is a ************ with robotic welds.
so hard to catch, cause it could have partial fusion in some spots and then rattle loose during shipment or packaging.

i worked at a muffler factory for a few months way back in the day, you'd be amazed how much those robots can expletive up.

i think thats exactly what happened, it must have came off while cooling or something, but there appears to be no heat marks on the flange itself in the area where its incomplete which leads me to believe it never contacted the flange and only the tubing. shet i probably could have welded it better with a $100 welder from walmart. ok maybe not.
