hey i'm new here but i've heard there are alot of intelligent people here. my question is, when replacing a stock cam gear with an after market one what do i need to do to get the max out of my gear. d16y7 is the engine. i hear you can tune it so u have more low end torque, is this true?? thanks for the replies.

 

What other modifications are done to the car? ( Intake and exahust dosnt count )a cam gear is pointless on a stock car, If it was boosted or had a cam youd be able to retard/advance the timing and what not.. but on a stock car its pointless
